Summer is calling to me: lots more sunshine, longer days, afternoon thunderstorms, beach days. Heat and humidity that makes the air feel heavy, and makes me want to take long afternoon naps, followed by warm evenings at the pool or park. I love summer, and the freedom from a busy routine for awhile. I love watching fireworks on the Fourth of July from the downtown swimming pool. Isn't everyone happier in the summer?
"Summertime, and the livin is easy.. Well your daddy's rich and your ma is good lookin', so hush little baby don't you cry." This summer, I am looking forward to spending time at Blizzard beach and Typhoon Lagoon with the family, and getting some much needed projects done at home. Time to stock up on the gatorade and popsicles, because summer is just around the corner for us. 7 more days of school! And two and half more weeks until vacation for me!
