Lord of the Plants

A few days after scout camp, I went to wake up Christopher, and I found this kid in his place. Apparently, he is allergic to some plant at the camp in Georgia. It was strange, because it wasn't an instant reaction.
You know it's bad when the doctor calls after hours to tell you to make sure he's breathing. He had to go on some strong medicines to get the swelling down and take away the reaction. The rash lasted about a week and a half, and was extremely itchy and painful. Poor kid. Luckily, he didn't scar and is back to his normal self.
I already worry about sending him to camp, and now I have real reason to worry about next year. Can you say Epi- Pen?
This year, the camp was all mormon. All of the stakes from Georgia and our ward went at the same time and they had a general authority as well at their firesides. Did I hear anything about that? Nope- All I heard about was the white water rafting and snakes, and that is including from the boys who gave talks/testimonies in sacrament meeting after camp.

holy cow!!!!!! That must have been quite the plant- and strange for that late of a reaction- Of course you only hear about the crazy wild stuff- the spiritual stuff isn't "tough guy" enough. Cool that they had a GA visit- We pretty much always have all or major majority LDS at camps (of course). Glad he is on the mend- and hope that doesn't happen again

That is some serious swelling. Once critter gets an epi-pen, him and Monkey can be epi-pen buddies.
