And so it begins...

Starting October 1, I work for United. It is strange. So far as my job is concerned not much has changed yet, except we moved to a new terminal at the airport.

Update: The first plane with the United paint job came in last night and went out as flight 1593 to Newark. We all took pictures. We are excited, and glad we, for now, still have a good job. The passengers didn't even notice.

One of the first big changes starts Tuesday. We will have food for sale on board. We have been, for many years, proud to be the only airline that still has meal service in coach for free.

I'm wondering what other changes are in store..
