We stayed at the Hilton Vacation Club in town which was really nice and not like a gross hotel room- a plus for me -since I hate those 70's blankets and decor. The next morning we went to St. Petersburg for the day. We walked in the park, enjoyed the museum and took a really short walk on the beach.
One of the reasons we stayed in town was because of the big storm that brought more cold weather to Central Florida. This has been the coldest winter ever since we lived in Florida, but at least Saturday we had lots of sunshine.
